These Terms govern your use of the SommSim mobile application and website (the “Service”). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
1. Age restriction
By using SommSim, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction). The Service is intended solely for adults.
2. Description of services
SommSim is an educational and entertainment platform. Features include the Blind Simulator, a gamified deductive tasting tool; the Palate Twin algorithm, a sensory-matching system; and cellar-to-table pairing from your personal archive.
3. No professional advice
The content provided by SommSim is for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for a licensed sommelier, medical advice, or legal advice regarding alcohol.
4. Alcohol and health
Use of SommSim involves discussion of alcohol. You acknowledge that alcohol consumption carries inherent health risks. Never use SommSim while operating a vehicle or machinery.
5. No alcohol sales
SommSim does not sell alcohol. Any purchases made through third-party links are transactions between you and the licensed retailer.
6. Intellectual property
SommSim, the Blind Simulator logic, the Palate Twin matching algorithm, and all UI/UX designs are the exclusive intellectual property of the Owner.
7. User-generated data
By uploading tasting notes, labels, or cellar data, you grant SommSim a license to use that data to train and refine the Palate Twin and sensory analysis for your own recommendations.
